✋ Will has now recorded 58 consecutive full league games for Town, which in itself is a remarkable achievement, and shows the reliability and sacrifices these players make.

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 It’s not just Will that’s become part of the Redcar Town family; mum Mandy, dad Richard, brother Max, and grandad Ken are all regulars home and away, in rain and shine, but usually rain.

🗣️ Goal-keeping coach Terry Stones:

“It’s an absolute pleasure working with Will. He’s there every training session, putting in the work, wanting to improve, and always willing to help the younger keepers at the club. A proper team player.

He’s a great goalkeeper, and still improving; he will go far in the game. He’s a great lad, one of the best; he deserves every bit of success that he gets. He’s polite and respectful to all, a real credit to himself and his family.

He has been massive for us, and those injury-time penalty saves at Boldon and Grangetown are among my moments of the season.”
