@saltymamas When is the best time to ask a woman when she's due? Never! It's none of your business. In general, it's never a good idea to ask about or comment on anyone's body. Why don't more people understand that?
@moneyaftergrad More and more I'm convinced that a uterus is necessary to understand for true financial cost of being a parent. Not sure why that is, but it's annoying.
My father in law came over and asked 2 for a kiss and when she said “no” he said “gonna take one anyway” and my husband stopped him and explained that we’re working hard to teach her that her “no” has power and deserves respect and I’m not crying YOU’RE crying
They love you no matter what.
They always want to be close to you.
Even when you’re screwing up, they still think you’re amazing.
They want to be just like you when they grow up.
You are their hero.
You may be their mom, but they’re constantly reminding you of your worth.
@EverydayLake If you're wanting to do something that specifically affects children, there are several organizations that will let you sponsor a child and/or their education. You get to see the child grow up and write letters and stuff. It's pretty cool.

@Military_Dollar@mrmultiinterest I think you nailed it. For high income earners, frugality is a choice. When your income is so low that you can't afford to eat out, it can be painful to hear "make meals at home instead of going out" as a frugality tip.
@nedosjl @urbanrhetoric@Tolerance_org I didn't ask POCs. I asked for a resiurces to learn about anyone who differs from me. This kind of finger pointing when someone asks a question is the reason people don't ask questions. And I can't possibly afford to pay someone every time I ask a question.
For the first time in my life, I'm taking a hard look at my privilege as a White, middleclass, cisgender, female with a college education. I'm really interested in learning about the obstacles that others face and would like some book suggestions.
