@TheBlueDodger I don't think Alonso yet knows what he wants to do with the team. Take JP out and the attack has zero impetus or desire to score. Really poor but need time.

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@journalism_rp You simply don't lose to Spurs at home when you're Chelsea manager. You don't play with the absolute cowardice we played with. No idea what XA was thinking, like he was spooked with no JP but that's why you signed Welbeck. Embarrassing.

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@Statford_Bridge Forced Colwill to LCB as well. Lacroix offers nothing with the ball, we know what Colwill can do from the centre of that back 3....

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@adamsummerton Going for my first time in October! Milan Vs Atalanta. After years of watching on TNT, can't wait to experience in person!

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@jamesallcott Worry with starting both Hato and James is a lack of height. Really hurt Chelsea on set pieces last season and has clearly been something we have targeted in recruitment this summer, adding some more size.

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@RupertLowe10 You know they're a socialist country right?

"And some of us will feel like kids again, marvelling at Messi, Mbappe and Yamal the way we once marvelled at Xherdan Shaqiri, Alexis Sanchez and Asamoah Gyan."

@OliverKay

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@adamsummerton Same as what happened to De Zerbi after he left Sassuolo. The big clubs would rather recycle each other managers than push the boat out, another reason as to why Serie A is being held back. Looks like Milan are bucking the trend tho....Poch or Iraola

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@OptaAnalyst I wonder which year Russell Martin was at Southampton 🤔

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@GeorgeSmileyOBE Every cloud has a sliver lining. Because it's been so bad it's forcing the higher up to consider their "project". Let's see next season is they change tact. Alonso would be a big step in the right direction. Sorting out tickets would be another.

@GraemeBailey

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@SOCobhamPod @MattDaviesAdams @liam_twomey @reallycerys @CWeatherspoon_ Honestly feel bad for Rosenoir. He has to go tonight but he looked defeated at the end. Owners have thrown him into a fire and put his career back years by pulling him out of Strasbourg. Less said about the performance the better.

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@Statford_Bridge

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@SOCobhamPod @bosherL @MattDaviesAdams I don't even think this is the nadir. Looking at the rest of the season I don't see how Chelsea get another win. Team isn't exciting or hard to play against. Every player looks worse (bar Hato). Rosenoir is an issue, yes. But the directors/owners need to face the music.

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@DougieCritchley @oztalksfootball Like Tosin?

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@GeorgeSmileyOBE Nothing like League Cup Semi. Game was really open and they attacked from start. Should have scored way before they did and honestly deserved to go through across the 2 legs. Officiating making men's look competent.

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@SOCobhamPod @MattDaviesAdams @reallycerys @charlotteharpur @Zonal_Marking Was this season not due after years of dominance? Could it give the team a chance for a reset next year as they look to build the next "Dynasty", to steal an American term!

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@SOCobhamPod @MattDaviesAdams @reallycerys @SJohnsonSport At least when it was Potter it was the start of the project so you could argue the "model" needed some time to get going. This is after 4 years. Clubs needs change from top to bottom. Owners need to climb down off their high horse and admit they were wrong.

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@AndrewTurmer @SOCobhamPod @MattDaviesAdams @liam_twomey @reallycerys He's a symptom of a much much larger problem. SDs have to go, ownership have to change direction.

[Finn @Finn_B13]

@SOCobhamPod @MattDaviesAdams @liam_twomey @reallycerys This is the nadir. The first season the club qualified under BlueCo and have just been embarrassed by an actually elite European team. The direction of everything has to change after today. Strip it down (keeping a few good bits) and start again.
