Authentic is much better than unique.
Novelty is nice, but it’s not necessarily relatable or urgent. The goal here is connection — being ‘seen’ by another person. Speak your truth, your way. Being vulnerable and courageous. Trust that you are enough. Be yourself turned up to 11.
@IsabelMgarcia45 You are so right, Isabel. True happiness comes from living a life aligned with your values and needs. Finding time and space to clarify those two things is the best gift you can give yourself.
Your Body Knows: Making Decisions with Intuition
Making decisions can be tough.
But what if the key to unlocking choices that truly align with you lies within your own body?
Harnessing Your Internal Compass
Science tells us our cells react to stimuli.
When we feel safe and excited, our bodies literally expand and move towards it.
Imagine your dream job opportunity – your body probably vibrates with excitement!
This is your intuition leading the way.
Similarly, a toxic situation might trigger a feeling of unease, a subtle signal to step away.
Learning to listen to these internal cues can be a powerful decision-making tool.
Decision-Making Made Simple
Think of this as your internal "decision compass."
It's your intuition talking.
Instead of endless overthinking, ask yourself:
· Does this choice energize and excite me?
· Or does it trigger a sense of dread or contraction?
Strategic Alignment with Your Intuition
Strategic decision-making isn't about pleasing others.
Strategic thinkers excel at aligning their choices with their long-term goals.
By tuning in to your body's responses, you gather valuable information about what feels expansive and what feels constricting.
This allows you to make strategically aligned choices, prioritizing opportunities that light you up and steering clear of paths that drain your resources.
Prioritize Your Wellbeing by Listening to Your Intuition
Life is finite, and your energy is precious.
Listening to your body aligns with your intuition.
By prioritizing decisions, experiences, and opportunities that energize you, you invest your energy in choices with a higher chance of leading to fulfillment and enjoyment.
Live Authentically by Following Your Intuition
Ignoring your intuition to please others can lead to resentment and a sense of living someone else's life.
Growth requires a willingness to step outside your comfort zone.
Tuning into your body's signals allows you to make choices that resonate with your values, even if it means disappointing others.
It can lead to unexpected adventures and a more fulfilling journey.
Live With Intention: Your Life, Your Choice
Ultimately, the power of choice lies with you.
· Will you base your life on external expectations, burdened by regrets?
· Or will you choose to listen to your intuition and choose the path that ignites your cells and fuels your journey towards a life you love?
Don't be afraid to say "no" to opportunities that leave you feeling uninspired or drained.
Remember, you're crafting your own story.
A moment of courage to prioritize your well-being can unlock a lifetime of aligned choices and lead you down a path that truly excites and energizes you.
Listen to your internal compass, your intuition.
Your body is sending you clear signals.
By tuning in, you can chart a course towards a life that thrives, feels energizing, fulfilling, and truly yours.
I wrote to gain confidence.
I wrote to discover what I stand for.
I wrote to support and encourage others.
I wrote from the heart.
I didn't gain a ton of followers or garner tons of impressions.
But I stayed the course. That's success!
The Challenge is ending. Twitter isn't my forte. I'm missing some posts I know I wrote. I struggled to respond to replies.
Still, I was successful. Why? Because the Challenge fueled my imagination and desire to write.
I wrote every day on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn.
Within seconds, the colours began to disperse.
Shades of purple, pink, blue and yellow filled the crevices between the clouds and the artist’s palette was revealed in all its glory.
Starting the day naturally is how I effortlessly found my flow state.
At precisely the right moment, I stop myself from switching on the kitchen light, my habit when I awake.
Something urges me to forego my morning coffee routine and step outside, despite the -12° degree temperature.
The horizon is ablaze, a red and gold ribbon about to unfurl.
@riskbeingseen Me too. Sometimes it means I must distance myself from friends, family or situations beyond my control. I do my best to speak with care, but it's not always well received.
I've vowed to not say I'm fine when I'm not or hide my joy because someone else is miserable. Baby steps.
You can answer the following question even if you've never read The Four Agreements. Which one would challenge you most?
1. Be impeccable with your words
2. Don't take anything personally
3. Don't make assumptions
4. Always do your best
@IsabelMgarcia45 I agree. I was with a group of people I love and respect.
We were given a piece of paper with 7 rings and asked to put ourselves and 9 others who weren't in the room in a ring.
I was the only one that didn't put myself in the center.
That was a big aha! Lesson learned.
