Are there still people designing websites without Figma?
Cause if you're one of those, this is a reminder to get started.
Like really, it's the best way to design the premium websites.
I started using it like a few months ago, and my designs have never been the same.
No promo, I just love it.
If you do cold outreach this might be gold for you.
I like to call it 'assume familiarity'.
Start your cold email / cold call / whatever acting like they should know you.
Start with something like 'I'm X from company name, have you heard that name before'
And they'll immediately drop there guard and open up because they instantly understand that they should maybe know you.
And also that you work with people they might know so they trust you quicker and there's way less chance they'll be rude or just write you off.
7 months until I'm done with highschool.
Can't wait to be making my own days.
Waking up at normal times for my circadian rhythm.
Going to the gym, working with people I want to work with.
Maybe do some boxing in the afternoon.
Hopefully I'll be working an internship or a starter job at a cool company where I an learn a lot and apply to my own business.
This is for me what wealth and freedom looks like.
Just can't wait, 7 more months...
Nothing quite like being locked in so hard, nothing can get you out of it.
Some people who just pleasure them selves with TikTok and Instagram all day long will never understand.
@FitFounder So true bro, this is why the US seams so weird.
Here in the Netherlands unless you're going to another city for away, you cycle or you walk.
Had one of those annoying days yesterday, you know the type.
When you just feel like sitting around all day complaining.
Few people understand the meaning behind days like this.
I like to view them as tests.
You have to think 'what is this teaching me' in moments like this.
Maybe a prospect didn't show up to your meeting.
Well instead of complaining about it you maybe should have followed up better.
I learned a key thing whilst working on my clients website recently.
I'm making this new site and I have to use placeholders instead of real images.
It reminded me immediately of how important good imagery is.
Like it looks so shit right now, but I know when I add those images it's going to bang.
It's grossly underestimated, especially since most sites are so image heavy these days.
You should not only know your vision but surround yourself by it.
For example, I want to move to NYC later - so all my backgrounds wether it's my PC or my phone.
All have the NYC skyline.
That is motivation and energy that I can use.
Surrounding yourself with your vision and getting used to it is a cheat code.
Cause it also starts to feel doable, maybe even normal to achieve that.
