Polyamory is being framed as the capacity to love more than one person or have feelings for more than one person.

It is not. Healthy polyamory is the ability to sustain more than one relationship, whatever those relationships look like for you.

Relationships take work.

They take conscious effort to maintain and communicate, and if that's already hard in one relationship, it's not going to get easier in multiple.

Especially when different people have different communication styles so what works in one relationship may not work in another.
