Originally I was against the idea of him returning but it was just such a beautiful scene I couldn’t care less if he came back

Now that TADC 9 is out, I can actually say this now: My favourite scene in the episode (even throughout the entire show) is the scene with Caine in the void. Barely any dialogue but such a beautiful sequence I was in awe

I still personally enjoyed the finale because there were some REALLY high highs in the episode that were so impactful to me that I was able to look past a fair share of the episode’s flaws. I can definitely understand the criticism though

I saw episode 9 of TADC in theatres last week, and it’s not to say I didn’t enjoy it, but I’ve had some time to gather my thoughts and I think the show genuinely could’ve heavily benefited if they just did one more episode

in need of more animators and background artists for CONCEPT! attatched reference from my style guide, a scene from episode 15, and backgrounds from noodles short film that i really like the style/coloring of (background reference is incomplete/not fully fleshed out right now!)
