India’s merchandise (goods) exports for April–July 2026 (FY 2026-27) were US$ 173.78 billion, up 17.04% from US$ 148.48 billion in April–July 2025-26.

July 2026 was described as the highest-ever July merchandise export figure. Non-petroleum merchandise exports in April–July were $143.61 billion (+12.79%).

Q1 (April–June 2026) merchandise exports were $129.32 billion (+15.92%). Adding July’s $44.24 billion gives the four-month total of about $173.8 billion.

What drove growth ?

In July 2026, the main contributors included:

Petroleum products: $6.92 bn (+67.64%)
Electronic goods: $5.92 bn (+57.40%)
Engineering goods: $12.24 bn (+17.71%)
Organic & inorganic chemicals: $2.80 bn (+14.39%)

These official quick estimates are from the Department of Commerce / DGCIS and were released with the July 2026 trade data. Later revisions are possible.
