@1234523556m@Lethalstraight is this actually the racist video? i don't speak spanish but i can't line up anything they're singing here with what the chant's lyrics were said to be
I used to enjoy his bit and I still know it's a bit but it got to the point where to an unaware observer, my following or engaging with him felt like bad optics and not everyone is going to do the diligence to see its a joke
I disagree with his Manning Fireworks review but I also respect his differing opinion even if it is completely unaligned from my own and makes no sense to me. There’s no objectivity in what makes a piece of art good or bad
@theneedledrop you never pretended it was good. And an artist is allowed to have an ego on their album about themselves. It doesn’t make the music bad and you of all people know that. Criticize it for things it deserves to be criticized for. Have some damn self-respect you’re better than this
Yo the mass delusion around the ok symbol being a white supremacist dogwhistle is hilarious I promise you 99% of the population does not even know that could mean white power and would think it means ok or that they’re about to get punched from the circle game
It also just doesn't add up to me to hold him to this much scrutiny over, in this case, what seems to me like distasteful off-hand remarks and mistakes (still bad) when we have a sizable amount of pedophile rapist politicians
Bro what is the nyt graham platner smear campaign i dont even live in maine and i keep getting breaking new notis about any mildly negative action he’s ever taken IN HIS LIFE
I think I liked this album but in all seriousness I can't remember a thing besides alison, when the sun hits and souvlaki space station compared to other shoegaze albums i love. I would say pygmalion was probably a more memorable follow-up as well
