Now private schools are an entirely different beast. If people can afford to send their kids to them, they don't need our tax $ to help.

Charter schools pick who can attend and do not accept everyone. So focus is one profit and picking the best students to make them look good

@gregborbonus @DocLanceP @quantum64653366 @paulapoundstone Except less money now goes to schools in poor neighborhoods, so more of them close. So now poor kids have fewer choices. Then the private schools raise tuition so the poor kids can't get in. Add on that public schools take everyone and private schools pick who can go there.
