@sianamis It's always framed as trying to help people be safe, but it's really just victim blaming with extra steps. Meanwhile no one seems to be doing much about the actual problem. It's infuriating.

@sianamis I mean, the line has always been don't resist arrest and you won't get hurt, but apparently now you should also resist arrest so you don't get hurt. Or, you know, the police could get their act together and stop hiring violent psychopaths.

@sianamis That's what I thought as well. I mean, I know the police are a bit more chill over here in the UK, but "resist arrest" and "do not enter any vehicle" still seems like a great way to get the crap beaten out of you.
