I’ve been getting a lot of questions from my non-Black friends about how to be a better ally to Black people. I suggest unlearning and relearning through literature as just one good jumping off point, and have broken up my anti-racist reading list into sections:
I’m “my parents are divorced but hang out every single day & I think they are dating but they don’t know how to communicate w me & I’m too scared to ask”
For my next job interview, I'm gonna ask my "future" employer on "what are the things you've done for your employees during the COVID-19 community quarantine".
FIFA prize money calculations can and will be debated. Commercial revs income can and will be debated. TV ratings and sponsership can and will be debated. But to read that @ussoccer thinks this of the @USWNT and female athletes in general is disgusting and disturbing to me
This headline is trash.
Kealia Ohai (which is her name by the way, since you didn’t even bother to mention it) is incredible entirely on her own merit and deserves to be treated as such.
Be better than this.
