Alex was an amazing politician, he had an almost encyclopedic mind, his knowledge of history, current world events, economics was brilliant. He kept the SNP running and NS didn't want him back... For obvious reasons...

@heraldscotland Haven't supported them since they conspired to keep Alex from coming back. He could see what a mess NS was creating with her gender hoo haa overriding the actual needs of the country. An inordinate amount of time spent on equalities while the infrastructure remains neglected.

Please name me ONE major infrastructure project which was signed AFTER he stood down? He was a strategic thinker, economist, cross party negotiator.
