@Grimezsz Relax, sleep lots, reduce work demands, embrace love and kindness. Symptoms disappear when you give up sugar, UPF and alcohol for the most part. Enjoy outdoors, walking and fresh food. Develop a dancing habit to improve mood, cardiovascular and bone health.
People who crave a slow life are rebels against modern culture. They don’t want constant stimulation. They don’t dream about “grinding” 24/7. They enjoy quiet mornings. Long walks. Thick books. Meaningful work. And being left alone with their thoughts. Because they’re built for depth over noise. For a life that feels good to live. And trying to force a peaceful soul to live in a hyper-stimulated world is one of the fastest ways to lose yourself.
@DrSuzanneH7 Grok dumbed it down for me quite nicely, including the difference between Kruse and Cowan re water. That was useful. I like the physics angle.
@TruthFairy131@AlboMP That’s not how it works ever. The ‘end user’ never gets funding directly. The huge costs are spent on reports, meetings, extra government jobs, projects and PHDs, admin support, posters…. The people and problems end of the chain nothing much changes.
Walked to Reeth and watched the strimmer man killing all the dandelions. On the walk home a charm of goldfinches had found a tiny remaining patch of dandelion seed heads to feed on.
Once you see how hell bent we are on destroying food chains you can’t unsee it.
Spraying just one dandelion with roundup will kill 100+ pollinators.
The flower won't die right away and will be visited by dozens of bees and butterflies, poisoning them as well.
NEVER spray spring dandelions. Ever.
