@sharlenem229 well done! My five year old girl has watched the race over and over again. You and Rhasidat are such an inspiration for her. Every time she watches it she says "they are so strong"
@HoareMarisa@Ms_Ali_B@Belgian_Blue@SocDems@pmonahanjr who gets to decide what's an issue and what is not? by commenting on this you yourself have made it an issue. People are diverse of course what's an issue for me might not be an issue for you but your lack of willingness to see anothers point of view speaks volumes
@HoareMarisa@Ms_Ali_B@Belgian_Blue@SocDems@pmonahanjr it's a public school. Tax payer funded. Primary form of education for our citizens. under a Catholic ethos. I want a publicly funded school not under a Catholic ethos. Simple. maybe your God can give you your strength.
@Belgian_Blue@SocDems@pmonahanjr no I didn't baptise my kids. The Principle said my daughter can take part in the ceremony but not recieve the eucharist. She was trying to include her I guess.
If only.

@PatrickFreyne1 also this now makes the gap between the haves and have nots in our sector even bigger, hard to organise for meaningful change when there is such division and we are all competing for scraps
@PatrickFreyne1 not least because now those of us who didn't get it (majority of eligible applicants) are wondering how much is enough? 350 a week is way more than many earn in the arts, and so little compared to other professions. alot to think about
@brigidpowerhi congratulations! my devastation on not getting it doesn't diminish my delight that others did. and lets be real - it's a poverty wage. you are worth more, as a musician and a mother, and a human, but I hope it brings you some relief from the constant strain of precarity x
@aisling_prior@AbbeyTheatre I was testing positive for 11 days. 15 days since I got it now and wake each morning with awful headache and bone tired still.i feel your pain, hope you turn a corner soon! x
@Smurphette85 a neighbour of mine, who I don't know very well, knit jumpers for my 1yr old and we absolutely adore them. every day she wears them I think ah yes the world ain't so bad. such a lovely gesture of kindness. and yours is AMAZING.
@johncookeradio@drivetimerte@RTERadio1 Listening to the Director of Nursing speak. the sadness and struggle in his voice is heartbreaking. Love and best wishes to him and all the staff at this awful time. They must be so exhausted
@GaryDunne Lisa O'Neill at Liberty Hall. I never made it and now I really really really really wish I had. Take nothin for granted you never know when there'll be a pandemic is the moral of the story
