The Coastal and Marine Ecology class got to tour the Marine and Freshwater Research Institute (Hafró)’s main research vessel, the Árni Friðriksson. Dr. James Kennedy, a researcher at Hafró and an instructor for UW’s fisheries management course, gave us the tour. Thank you again!
So glad me and the @uwiceland students got to do an impromptu visit of the flagship of @MFRI_Iceland today! Just a couple months ago many colleagues and students were onboard, sailing the waters of Iceland looking for 🐋 as part of an ecosystem survey.
