@FarlaneTeri @WishesRescue FIV and FIP are two different things. FIP is lethal if not treated. But never contagious. FIV is only contagious by severe bites or while mating. Therefore can both be with other cats with no problems whatsoever

It just sounded like just another vet not capable of telling FCoV and FIP apart. Get well soon Kitty!

@scotub @tao_lin FCoV doesnt mean FIP. Do not treat FCoV ever, you risk resistencies against FIP. What was her AG ratio or how did that vet diagnosed FIP?

Tablets are cheaper then the injection (only once daily, not two times). And why would anyone pay for your responsibility?

@loverainydays13 @BgGerken Sie hatte FCoV, kein FIP. FCoV positiv sind 92% der Population. Wenn es mutiert, ist es FIP und das ist dann unbehandelt tödlich. Und zwar zügig, je nach Form (feuchte Form etwa 10 Tage)
