@docrussjackson@UKLabour Sometimes you can get really weary and want to just walk away, then you need to remind yourself that they are deliberately trying to grind you down, so you will do exactly that. Then you pick yourself up and keep on fighting. Thanks for your thread.
"140 Labour MPs urge UK to ban trade with illegal Israeli settlements."
Leaving 262 Labour MPs who are NOT urging their Govt to ban trade with illegal Israeli settlements.
Please RT this until they ALL do - & the UK Govt finally does as International Law requires.
Thank you.
@ShockatAdam@Shambles151 Illegal settlements? Are there legal ones? Cooper truly is the worse kind of politician, always trying to take the moral high ground while being blind, deaf and dumb to the truth.
Palestinian Land For Sale!
I asked the Secretary of State about an event set to occur in London this weekend which would sell illegally-obtained Palestinian land.
I’ll let you decide if this was a good enough response.
Or is it just ringing hollow?
@KerryBurgess@cason00192756 She’s a constant reminder that we have the worst people in power at the worst time. This should be a wake up call to all of us that we need to educate and inform ourselves regards politicians, starting with asking ‘who funds you?’ We need to be more pro-active on who we vote for.
Sometimes, I feel like I'm living in some kind of a parallel universe. The fucking brazen audacity of these shameless cretins to propose banning Russian soldiers from entering the EU while allowing Zionists to go from the EU to Palestine and commit the very worst of war crimes and return home without fear of santion. How did these evil people get to rule our lands and our lives?
The UN says violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank is rising sharply, with at least 44 Palestinians killed since the start of the year. A new UN report says settler attacks on Palestinian villages have risen by 130% since 2023.
Al Jazeera’s Joel Evans reports.
@frisky9 He was a lovely boy. It’s hard to believe it’s three years already and, of course, you still miss him. It’s amazing how a small bundle of fur on four legs can be such a big part of your life. ❤️
The last ever video of Frisky before he went OTRB 🌈 on 9th June 2023, 3 years ago this morning. I miss you baby boy, you changed my life forever 🐈🐾♥️🇦🇺 Frisky Le Rouge always a beautiful man. ♥️

FYI : European Powell has been raising a forensic & detailed alarm for some time now! Eventually people are waking up to the balkanisation of sovereign countries including the UK. Like something out of science fiction novel, the billionaire corporate pariahs ruling vast swathes of universes, starts here, now within our own front doors! Just as Orwell correctly saw in the last century, how they would create a dystopian hell, these writers of today, like Cory Doctorow, Dan Simmons, Stephen Donaldson.Greg Bear,Cixin Lui,Hal Jingfang, Margret Atwood, all have glimpses of terrifying authoritarian hells, here on earth & throughout anywhere in the universe we continue to colonise for predatory extraction.
This is important information for everyone in the UK.
Thank you @UnityNewsNet for sounding the alarm on these 'data centres'.
They are set to devour up to 1.37 billion litres of water EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Buyers: BlackRock, Digital Realty, Equinix
Users: Google, Meta, Oracle, OpenAI
The UK government designated 'data centres' as Critical National Infrastructure, which allows projects to bypass local planning disputes.
People are already angry.
Noise Pollution:
Massive industrial cooling fans are running 24/7. Residents near existing centres compare the constant low-frequency hum to a jet engine parked outside their windows.
Green Belt Destruction:
Despite a national housing shortage, huge swaths of protected green spaces are being rezoned for data warehouses.
They are out-bidding residential housing for grid power and planning to burn on-site gas when the grid fails.
The more apt name for them is 'surveillance centres'.
Israel operates the most well-documented network of rape dungeons on earth.
@AliAbunimah: "I want to contrast that with what the same UN Secretary General's report says about the sexual violence against Palestinians. The headline finding from his report to the security council is that the UN actually verified conflict related sexual violence including rape and torture by Israeli forces against 31 Palestinians from Gaza in the West Bank.
The victims were 14 men, 7 women, 9 boys and 1 girl. The crimes that the UN verified included and this is going to be very graphic. I warn people in advance:
Rape, rape with objects, gang rape, attempted rape, forced nudity, threats of rape, unwanted touching of breasts and genitals, genital violence, targeted shooting of the genitals, and strip and cavity searches without apparent justification.
Rape and gang rape, sometimes repeated, were verified against 9 victims, most of them from Gaza. The perpetrators identified by the UN include the Israeli army, the Israel prison service, its Keter special forces, and Yamam, the police counter terrorism unit.
These abuses took place mainly during detention and interrogation at prisons and detention sites including Etzion, Megiddo, Offer, Ramla, Hasharon, and the Gushkon police station.
The victims included journalists and human rights defenders. Some of the violations were filmed or photographed, including one rape. Men and boys were subjected to rape, attempted rape, and genital violence.
5 male victims suffered severe rectal bleeding or swelling for days or weeks, in some cases without medical treatment.
So this is what the UN's report says about the 31 cases and it stresses that these are 31 cases that it verified but that there are many many more cases, where there are strong allegations that it could not yet verify, and that is, again, largely due to obstruction by Israel because Israel refuses to allow uh UN access to its detention centers or to allow investigators into Gaza where many of those detainees were released back after lengthy detention.
And again, this is entirely consistent with other independent reporting which is all based on firsthand accounts and medical evidence such as the @EuroMedHR report I mentioned which contains utterly horrific firsthand accounts. We've written about that as well. And you find nothing analogous on the Israeli side.
Absolutely nothing analogous. you find these vague uh uh accusations, these very uh sweeping general statements, but no really specific well documented cases.

I told you about Uncle Andy and Auntie Sammy's rescue cat the other day.
Well yesterday was very sad for them because Jasper left them and went to the 🌈
He was 20 years old.
I know they will miss him very much so I will try to be extra nice to them when I see them.
Rest in peace dear Jasper.

Maurine came to help me finish my breakfast yesterday.
I didn't mind.
He is very polite with me and I'm not scared of him.
He is getting a tiny bit more confident with Betty.
He watches her but doesn't come close.
It took me a long time to become friendly with the humans here but it's taking Maurine much longer.
Never mind, I'm sure it will happen one day, won't it?
