Today, during the Friday prayers at Markazi Jamia Masjid Pulwama, the entire Pulwama community stood united in demanding the establishment of an NIT (National Institute of Technology) in Pulwama. The Imam emphasized, We want an NIT in Pulwama.

However, it is deeply disheartening to see certain political forces attempting to shift this project elsewhere for their narrow interests. Pulwama’s youth are vigilant, and let it be clear—we are not asleep. We are awake, aware, and united.

This NIT is not just a campus; it represents a bridge that connects Pulwama to the broader vision of a progressive India. Imagine students from every corner of the country studying here, fostering bonds of unity, understanding, and shared growth. Institutions like this are transformative not just for education, but for strengthening national harmony.
