@machal Já to zkoušel. Ač se to zdá boží tak se rychle dostaneš do slepých míst. Už jen třeba formátování čísel/textů je oser. Navíc je to brutálně pomalý, protože ty requesty jdou bůh ví kam.

@alesroubicek Snažil jsem se to říct v přednášce. Sám bych kritické css použil pro kritický obsah. Ne pro hackování načítání fontu. Nemá smysl jednu věc uspíšit a pak schovat obsah.

@alesroubicek Možná nesprávné předání. Díky za reakci! Chtěl jsem pouze ukázat že browser hned reaguje pokud není blokovaný. Ne konkrétní implementaci. Bylo to hodně zjednodušeno pro ukázku a chybí tam race conditions.

I have been using GSAP for 8years. I just want happy users and then developers - not opposite. You have influence, this is responsibility 😃

@OSUbowen @cassiecodes @greensock Browser can handle how much content will (pre)render and stay low with memory. I am sure that you sometimes saw blank page when you scrolled down fast on heavier sites. Browser makes async scroll and then renders part of site what you need.

Plugin moving with content by transforms and this lead to swap whole page to memory. More content inside this layer will increase memory. This is reason why scroll is async by default.

@cassiecodes @greensock Wrap site with ScrollSmoother and your start position is somewhere else - much worse. I won't be hater. I like animations and gsap, but I tried this technique many times and it has never worked well with real world users.

@cassiecodes @greensock It definitely depends. And yes it is connected to developer creativity and knowledge. But simple accelerated animation or complex, with FLIP to transforms method, can perform very well also on low end devices....
