On Saturday, I received a letter from the DWP telling my partner about changes to Winter Fuel Payment.
My partner died on Thursday 19th September. I informed the DWP of his death on Friday 27th September using the online "Tell Us Once" service. 1/

Such a great visit! I left feeling inspired, energised and grateful to have shared space with the first integrated school in the country. Thank you so much 🙏🏿 @lagancollege
I have a theory that driving has got worse since the Covid lockdowns (it needs a bit of work).
But what I see on Victoria St, Dunbar Link, Great Patrick St and Clifton St on my way west at 7.15am is brake-pumpingly awful. Half the drivers must be drunk or still asleep.
Derry. Seriously. Come on.
Yes, it takes commitment. Yes, you will get pushback and abuse (just as I did, my paper did and many good people did).
But the only way to stop this rancid tripe is to face this down – not once, but year after year.
I don't see that happening, tbh.
The usual geniuses keep using this photo, to make their usual dumb/hateful anti-immigration arguments.
Quite ironic, to say the least.
A few facts about this photo, for anyone interested in who those women were - and what their stories might tell you about Ireland. /1
@JimmyJliscombe@williamcrawley@TKbytesback Can't really change things in a couple of months, especially with parliament on summer recess for a good chunk of that. What about the previous incumbents who had 14 years?
The petrol bombings in Derry against the PSNI were carried out by children -some under ten.. let that sink in.. they didn’t lick this off the ground .. their parents & the sick minds who sent them out should be held to account. There’s no justification for this recklessness
@DaveB22664400 @SimonScarrow They still managed to smash up many businesses.
A group of 100 residents on the Ormeau Rd stopped them in their tracks, though.

Maths & Equations aren’t my strong point - but the new wall art on the Mathematics Modular building is really starting to take shape. You can always Count on @UofGEstates to brighten up the campus.
