@BernieSanders These are some of the wealthiest and most productive members of society. To even it out, let’s get a group of the poorest and least productive members of society in a room to figure shit out. I’d pay to watch that live!!
Make private fire great again. Subscription based on square foot rather than value. It’s not like the old days; fire crews have no idea who’s a subscriber and who’s not so they do the job no matter what. If the victim isn’t a subscriber then they get a bill for service. Or the municipality, community, or county contracts with the fire department and the bill is negotiated.
@SenatorSlotkin You voted no because your friends told you to. “There’s too much corruption” so let’s vote no on the rules to reign it in. This was a bipartisan bill and Trump himself agreed to rules the democrats wanted. Then last night, you bums asked for more. Seems like a stall tactic to please the bank lobbyists. Maybe so there’s more time to get in on the lawlessness before it’s too late?
@SenThomTillis I’m not even sure why I’m wasting my time typing this because I know you’re not going to answer.. But specifically why did you vote no? An answer of substance would be appreciated. Not some vague BS about not good enough, bad guys, corruption, bla bla bla. If it’s not good enough, vote it in and make it better in time. Because right now there is NOTHING…
@SenatorBennet You voted no because all your democrat friends told you to. You just admitted it was an attack on Trump rather than a governance decision. Over a year and “thousands of hours” by a bipartisan committee put this bill together with plenty of guardrails put in place by democrats and agreed on by republicans (Trump included). Now we’re at the same position we were when all this supposed unethical crap happened.
Trump did bad things so let’s make laws… But these laws “aren’t good enough” so let’s just not have any laws. Make it make sense.
@SenTimKaine Can you give specific examples? All we hear is generic rhetoric. Democrats asked for provisions, they were provided, then at the last minute you guys demanded more. Seems like a distraction and a delay to appease the bank lobbyists. IF there is anything of substance, please provide it so the people are more informed.
@elonmusk I have an idea that may help with the population collapse, and the lack of maternity leave issue in the US. I propose a tax free investment account that someone can start if and when they are preparing to have a child. Tax free contributions, growth, and withdrawals IF you give proof of a child. The withdraws can be utilized to cover expenses while on maternity leave. Rather than make the government or the employer pay for maternity leave like so many liberals want. If you end up not having a child, the money rolls over into a retirement and is taxed appropriately. Call your boy and let’s make it happen!
This young Amish guy on Theo Von’s podcast casually described “coffee soup” like it’s the most normal thing ever: hot milk, a splash of instant coffee, a bit of sugar, saltine crackers soaked in it… and then meat or fish on top.
Some even add cottage cheese.
Theo was as confused as the rest of us. If you didn’t grow up with it, it sounds wild, but every Amish person who did swears by it.
The visual of crackers floating in milky coffee with sausage on top is living rent-free in my head.
When residential solar becomes more affordable, we will be well on our way. Right now even with all the “rebates” and “deals” it’s a wash. Might get a return in 10 years assuming the panels hold up and are installed correctly. Hardly worth it at the moment. Get it down to a 4 year ROI and I’m in
