@BBCWomansHour @theodoraclarke @BBCNuala Midwives used to provide amazing after care , there just aren’t enough of them now & early discharge doesn’t help . When I had my children even following a normal delivery you stayed in hospital at least 48 hours & were visited at home daily for at least 10 days .
