Some of you seriously need to remember that being a fan does not make you entitled to anything. YOUR CONCERT TICKET IS NOT A FREE PASS TO HARASS, DISRESPECT, ATTACK, CURSE, OR CALL THEM NAMES. YOU PAID FOR A SEAT AT A SHOW, NOT OWNERSHIP OF THEIR LIVES.

The members do not exist to live up to your personal expectations. If you’re willing to disrespect them the second you’re disappointed, you’re proving that you see them as something to consume, not people to respect.

Encouraging others to attack the members through their DMs is shameful. Leaving angry replies, calling them names, or demanding their attention because they did not meet your expectations says far more about you than it ever will about them. Do you really think they cannot understand what is being said? Translation tools are everywhere. Hateful words do not lose their meaning just because they are written in another language.

Before asking the members for respect, ask yourself if you have shown them any. There is nothing admirable about harassment. Stop with your entitlement. Watch your words. Watch your actions. Stop disrespecting the members.

Stop victimizing yourselves. If anyone is the victim here, it’s the six members who only wanted to continue doing what they love. Instead of supporting them, all you’ve done is disrespect them, tarnish their name, tear them down, and make everything harder for them. What’s actually ridiculous is how you keep acting like the wronged party when you are called out and publicly shamed, when in reality your actions for the past months have done nothing but hurt the members and damage their reputation. You don’t get to play the victim after contributing to the very situation that’s causing them harm and shame.

The worst part in all of this is that you don’t even seem to understand what you’ve done. You continue to paint yourselves as heroes and call your actions loyalty, as if that somehow excuses the damage you’ve caused. You praise yourselves for standing your ground, but refuse to acknowledge the consequences of your own behavior. You’ve become so convinced that you’re fighting for the right cause that you can’t even see how much harm you’ve inflicted on the members whom you are so loudly claiming to care about.
