Our podcast is out now on @spotify and everywhere else.
Thanks to President Trump’s $1.5 trillion defense budget, this War Department has moved from bureaucracy to business.
This is a FISCALLY RESPONSIBLE INVESTMENT in our Arsenal of Freedom—ensuring our military remains the most lethal fighting force in the world.
BREAKING: First-Ever Full Tour of Figure's Humanoid HQ
CEO Brett Adcock
Exclusive look through every department on their San Jose campus:
BotQ Factory, Testing, Design, Demos & more.
Brett walks us through how Figure is built:
- System integration lab: where robots are stress-tested with software faults & physical pushes
- Helix AI: team floor where the controls & neural network engineers train the vision-language-action model that runs onboard every Figure robot
- Reinforcement learning & stability testing: where Figure demos the Vulcan project — surviving a lost knee mid-task
- Home: environment where Figure 03 autonomously tidies a living room using their Helix neural network (no teleoperation)
- BotQ: manufacturing facility where heads, batteries, and limbs come together on the assembly line, including the custom-built battery line & end-of-line burn-in bays
- Industrial design studio: (opened publicly for the first time) housing every generation of Figure robot ever built, including: Figure 01 with its Frankenstein forearms, Figure 02, & the sleek Figure 03 that recently appeared at the White House, plus the evolution of Figure's hands & feet
Brett shares why he believes humanoid robots may achieve AGI before any other form factor, why Figure pivoted entirely from hand-coded controls to neural networks, & teases that Figure 04 will be their "iPhone 1 moment."
This was so much fun!
Big thank you to Brett & the team at Figure for opening the doors for us!

NEW: Brett Adcock, CEO of Figure
Full Interview
At a $39 billion valuation, Figure has raised nearly $2 billion in just 4 years to build general-purpose humanoid robots designed to perform real work at scale.
We go deep on the progress, what’s working today, the biggest challenges ahead, & the biggest misconceptions about robotics.
Plus:
• ~50% of global GDP = human labor
• Why this is a $30–40T labor opportunity
• Scaling to thousands → millions of robots
• “This is an intelligence problem”
• Why they walked away from OpenAI

The Joint Staff Chairman Gen. Dan Caine on the $1.5 trillion budget for warfighting: "The character of warfighting is changing pretty quickly. Mass simultaneity, autonomy, undersea space, cyber information, all of those, those ways that are now manifesting themselves on the battlefields around the world. Require a higher end of capital investment, and that's why we're grateful for the opportunity to have this budget make its way to the joint force.”

Los Angeles Mayor candidate Spencer Pratt confirms that “the number 1 buyer of Pacific Palisades dirt lots is China”
“China is taking over Los Angeles and Karen Bass is just letting them take it”
China isn’t buying the lots directly, they’re being very secretive. They establish companies based in New Zealand and then purchase Los Angeles properties with New Zealand companies, that are owned by China
Chinese buyers accounted for 15% of all foreign international buyer purchases nationwide in America
But get this
California was the top destination for these Chinese buyers, attracting 36% of their US purchases. 71% paid in all cash deals
Democrats are letting China buy out California’s home inventory
The remote Philippine island of Balabac is being turned into a strategic US-backed base under EDCA, with more patrols and drills as Chinese warships transit nearby waters.

Everyone calls these new AI facilities data centres. That's wrong.
What Elon Musk built in Memphis — gutting an abandoned refrigerator factory, wiring together 200,000 GPUs in 122 days — is not a data centre.
It's an Intelligence Factory.

A reminder of one of the most damaging U.S. intelligence betrayals in recent decades: Former USAF Technical Sergeant and counterintelligence specialist Monica Elfriede Witt.
• Converted to Islam in 2012 during a trip to an IRGC-linked conference in Iran
• Defected to Iran in August 2013, where she reportedly provided classified intelligence to Iranian authorities
• Had access to sensitive Special Access Programs (SAPs) and Middle East operations from her time in Air Force intelligence and as a contractor
• Indicted by the DOJ in February 2019 for conspiracy to deliver national defense information to a foreign government (Iran) and actually delivering it, including details that allegedly helped target her former U.S. colleagues via cyber operations
She's been a fugitive ever since, believed to still reside in Iran under protection, and remains on the FBI's Most Wanted list for espionage.
I for one hope that one of our precision strikes took her out for good.
Alabama airman and father of 3, Major Alex Klinner, identified as one of the six Americans who was killed when a KC-135 crashed in Iraq.
Klinner was a father to a two-and-a-half-year-old and seven-month-old twins.
His wife, Libby, posted the following on Instagram:
“On March 12, our world shattered. Alex and his crew were on the plane that crashed in Iraq. I'm devastated to lose the best person I know, the person that made everything more fun, my best friend.
But even more so, my heart is broken for our three kids who will grow up not knowing him. They won't get to see firsthand the way he would jump up to help in any way he could.
They won't see how goofy and funny he was. They won't witness his selflessness, the way he thought about everyone else before himself. They won't get to feel the deep love he had for them. He was an incredible person and husband, but he was the best dad.
It still doesn't feel real. I keep thinking that I'll get a text from him saying 'Sorry honey! Didn't mean to scare you' and everything will be alright. Because Alex always made everything alright. We just moved to a new home and we had so many exciting plans in the next few years. Now we are left to navigate the void left in our hearts.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out. Your words mean more than you know.
These are some of the last photos we have together before he deployed. He was crushed that he had to leave us. I'Il forever remember this heartbreaking goodbye.”
I am linking the GoFundMe below that was launched by Klinner’s sister-in-law, Sarah Rose Harrill.
Heartbreaking.

“The study identified 45 PRC defense laboratories that have coauthored research with US institutions, including public and private universities and federal research facilities like national laboratories run by the Departments of Energy and Defense. The data from the collected corpus of articles show that at least $943.5 million in federal research funding has been allocated to US research that involved collaborations with PRC defense laboratories since 2019. This amount understates the total federal dollars involved, as some research grants and facility contracts lacked clarity on actual amounts allocated to the identified research.”

In 1944 the U.S. War Department made a training film explaining Frequency Modulation for battlefield communications.
Oscilloscopes. Hand-drawn diagrams. Pure first principles.
It teaches FM clearer than most modern EE courses.
