As Chili looks back at Marcus, humming, she wonders if she'd been rude in her attempt to be considerate instead... poor guy looks almost... oddly put out.
"Oh..! Did-- I'm sorry, ha... it's just habit. I also thought since you'd be hosting me, even just by choice, well..."
Chili thought it was sweet, truth be told, that he had so many-- fidget cubes, that is. They're adorable little toys, what can she say? But when he gives it to her, she almost declines. Who would she be to take it from him?
But... hearing he has more, that makes her accept.

"If you're sure, hehe. But-- it's worth getting tested in most cases, it helps you identify and tackle the problem, I've found. Just... mm, people look at me funny sometimes about it, I confess."
She's stood up now, stretching her legs one at a time.

@99fastestalive [ She 'bites' his arm. By that, i mean puts her teeth around his bicep and shakes her head just barely enough to even hurt. Woww ferocious little beast! ]
grrgrgrgr, hehe..! i tricked you. no kiss, only bite. :)
"Got so excited to talk, I guess I didn't even notice we were getting closer to our destination,"
Chili unbuckles, reaching into her purse to pull out a, truthfully ridiculous, wad of cash. She pays the fare, but also tips extra, as means to apologize for her loud yapping.
Seeing something being offered in her peripherals, she looks up-- pleasantly surprised by the toy, smiling wide with equal parts amusement and thankfulness.
"Heh, I don't have one of these myself-- they're awfully cute, and always looked kind of fun to me, how'd you know?"

The taxi stops, and... wow, are they already in Castelia?
She guesses it's been a bit of talking, by now. That, and cabs are ridiculously fast on the better days they're running-- which is always, but... still, her point stands.
