Hello from Fireweed Studios! My name is Morgan Brown and I am pleased to introduce my studio account. I plan to post photos of previous wares while I get my studio set up to make more. Cheers!
I love this glaze combo - one dip of Korean celadon and then splattered with reitz green and fired to cone 9 in a reduction atmosphere. I love the way the reitz green reacts when put on top of the celadon to give that subtle matte blue color 🩵🤎
This is a fun little piece! Stoneware clay body covered with brown slip then carved for texture with some of the carved bits left on. Glazed with a transparent clear glaze (although it came out a bit milky) and fired to cone 9 🟤
I'm doing a stock take & like the #bowls there's only 1 of each of these mugs left now. They're a perfect size for your favourite brew & for warming your hands around. Wheel thrown ceramics #MadeInWales#WelshCraftHour#MHHSBD#shopindie https://t.co/TUOkn3rS1l
These jars are perfect to hold sugar, spice & everything nice 😇
Small Stoneware jars fired to cone 9 in a reduction atmosphere, glazed with reitz green, toejam yellow, mottled blue & purple haze glazes ✨️
This is one of my favorite glaze combos I like to call, "The Luke" - a friend's usual glazing motif of copper red underneath layered with mottled blue on top 🔴🔵
Dip ✨️ Splash ✨️ Splatter ✨️
Getting messy with this glazing method is always so fun!
One dip satin white, splattered with bamboo paint brushes dipped in waxy violet and satin black ⚪️🟣⚫️
