Rosanna got the jar opener and the egg cracker from the infomercials
@DiegaValentino@CherryCalamity they are doing it bc australia started ENABLING LAZY PARENTING by banning under 16s, then other countries started following suite. Talk was discord was being considered regarding banning under the social media thing. So they are trying to make themselves look better to avoid it
@imDutchWife @CherryCalamity discord is changing to it being teen by default, they will either use activity and profile to determine your a adult or a face and id verification if they want to use adult servers. People dong like it. Really this is happening cuz of Australia discord doesnt want to be banned

Alternative to Social Media Ban for 16 and under.
First: Youtube isnt a social media account, you cant direct message people for the most part, sooo yes theres public comments but you cant DM anyone.
Second: 10 and under - Banned. Most sites are 13+ regardless so they shouldnt
Or alternatively there should be a block on non filtered content for under aged accounts. The filter being a AI goes over things and then humans sort through whats left to check for dangerous trends missed. Remaining videos getting a E for everyone rating and then being able
Advertisements must go through a smart filter to be viewable by a child account. It should, ideally, block overly photoshopped models or unhealthy habits.
Video sites like tiktok should have increased safety and monitering, someone should be actively looking for dangerous trends
from their social media accounts. Private messages will not go through the parent/guardian account, but parents can always remove someone from the list.
Child accounts can only be DMed by people on their friend list, which again means they are approved by the parent.
be there as is.
11 - 15 Accounts must be attached to a parent/legal guardian account which is age verified to be a adult.
Parent Guardian accounts can: Approve or Block friend requests, view all public comments posted by the account, and forcibly log off/ground the child account
@thedfp_au Its going to fail, bc almost all those sites dont require accounts to browse. Yes, to see specific content they do, but for the most part you can do so normally. Just means you cant message people. Then there are just ask older friends. Its alot harder to track then alcohol
