I might also try bringing in some more nuanced data at some point (frequency, dialect, etc) to help refine the results.
I've put together a simple spell-checker for ancient Greek. It just highlights anything it can't find in Morpheus or Wiktionary (so there are some false positives, but it'll catch a lot of typos and misplaced accents).
