Ralf Ragnick made this statement 4 years ago and was hounded out of this club.

Mourinho came in spoke of football heritage and was chased out.

Amorim came in and made it clear to the board that he was the manager of the team and not a coach and he was sacked.

These are coaches that understood the problem of this club and could have solved it if they were backed by fans and the club.

Of particular concern is Amorim, he understood what needed to be done and went about it by clearing the deadwood but United fans only wanted him to win games forgetting we hired him for a rebuild.

Rebuilds are hard, difficult and painful.

It took Klopp 3 seasons and took Arteta 5 seasons but their clubs were willing to back them and stick with them.

Manchester United is happy to bend to the whims of fans and sack managers without dealing with the main problems.

We need to rebuild this club and Michael Carrick is not the man to do the job, we need a forward thinking manager.

Any coach who wants Rashford back in his squad is not a serious coach and should be sacked.

I am going to call it now like I have always done and this space will bear me witness.

If Jim Ratcliffe allows Jason Wilcox to ride roughshod over this club once again to appoint another manager then we as a club should just shut up shop or maybe try another sport apart from football.

Jim Ratcliffe wants to once again give the power of destruction to the very man who decided that Ruben Amorim should go and Micheal Carrick’s appointment should be made permanent - a man who should be fired alongside Michael Carrick.

Employing Eddie Howe will be like employing Carrick 2.0 - we need a proper elite manager not some mid table manager who’s pumped to be called - Manchester United Manager.

Sack Jason Wilcox now and give Christopher Vivell his position.

At 0:42 he called other players to join him in the press, they listen and by 0:55 they went back and left only him to do the pressing, if it were me I’d be pissed as well.

Amorim met this club at 13th position in the middle of the season and ended up finishing 15th.

He then took us from that 15th to 5th before he was sacked.

Carrick met us at 5th and finished at 3rd then has taken us from 3rd to 14th and is about to get sacked.

Please who’s the worst coach between this two? The man going up or the one going down?

The revisionism & pining for previous managers of Manchester United needs to stop, it doesn't help. Michael Carrick's 2026/27 doesn't change the fact Ruben Amorim was the worst manager in the club's history, he's gone. Go support AC Milan if you miss him.

It’s sad that Sir Alex Ferguson has kept mum over the state of this club over the years.

He is an embarrassment to this generation of Manchester United fans.

Sir Alex Ferguson should also share part of the blame for what’s happening to this club right now.

Though it wasn’t his decision to make about the sale, he helped make the sale possible.

In 2003 he fell out with John Magnier and J.P. McManus over stud rights to the racehorse Rock of Gibraltar. The Irish pair held nearly 29 percent of the club.

On the 12th of May 2005 they sold that stake to Malcolm Glazer. That was the takeover.

Months earlier, Ferguson had told fans United should not pass into “anyone else’s hands.” When campaigners asked him to resign so the bid might collapse, he refused.

He said he owed it to his staff. The Glazers kept him in charge and he met them, praised them, and said private ownership was easier than the old plc.

Even though he’s not the one that loaded this club with debt, he created the opening, declined to close it, and then made the new owners look successful.

This is why he must take a share of the blame and I hope in his old age he can see what his decision is costing this club and living in regret.
