If you aren’t familiar with what people are talking about in a conversation, maybe you should be quiet and listen instead of trying to steer the conversation toward what you’re familiar with.

As I said: “The mayor’s cuts are a devastating blow to low-income neighborhoods & communities of color. These areas are already grappling w/ severe challenges & lack essential resources as a direct result of the city’s systematic lack of investment in communities south of the 8.”
