$ASTS $PRME
The avg person has never heard of $ASTS or $PRME. Yes, you have a group of people that love ASTS & know its technology for D2D is better than Starlink
But the avg person / analyst / fund / VC never even mentions them. Same goes w $PRME.
So yes, we are still early.
$PRME technology sounds too good to be true when you read about it really next generation potential
if I was going to pick just one gene editing company (instead of using the $ARKG index) this would probably be the one
I also appreciate the technical setup here looks like a strong base formed at/under $3
OptiPrime, a new AI model from @davidrliu’s lab, helps scientists choose the best pegRNAs to make a desired edit, avoiding slow and costly steps in the lab and streamlining development of gene-editing medicines for rare diseases. https://t.co/RiZVozCVxo
Today a new and exciting milestone in the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Gene Editing (Prime Editing) - OptiPrime - was introduced by Professor David Liu - from Harvard and the Broad Institute and the co-founder of Beam Tx - $BEAM & Prime Medicine - $PRME. OptiPrime is a mechanism-based machine learning model which was developed specifically for predicting prime editing (PE) efficiencies and suggesting pegRNAs to achieve a user-specified edit. By incorporating existing PE knowledge into its mathematical structure, OptiPrime enables ML training on ~300,000 PE efficiencies and has already enabled the rapid identification of efficient PE strategies across various in vitro and in vivo applications. IMO the key importance of OptiPrime is its ability to expedite the R&D process of cures for genetic diseases by obsoleting months or even years of manual optimization. When it comes to patients who suffer from genetic diseases the time aspect is super critical and by shortening the timeframe of the complicated R&D process OptiPrime provides hope for patients and their families. Godspeed!
