what we’re not going to do is become sinophobic and racist and sexist because of all this and what we’re not going to do is turn on each other and blame specific ‘mains’ bc it achieves nothing other than distracting from the problem which is infold and their lack of communication and willingness to listen to their consumers. whether you’re upset or happy about this whole thing, no one who continues to play this game has won anything. the already fragmented main story is only going to have more plot holes, the company haven’t even begun to address the actual issues (lighting, actual customisation beyond basic skin tone, farming etc) and an entire team of creatives both within and external to the company have just lost what was likely months of hard work. VA’s have lost a stable source of work, the poor cosplayer for AX lost their gig, entire design teams have just watched their project be scrapped.
