An albanian little boy Leotrim Ahmeti, who tragically lost his life at the hands of serbian paramilitaries, in 01.09.1998, is commemorated through a sculpture.
-His grieving mother Shukrije Ahmeti, tearfully recalled the heartbreaking moment when her son reached out to her, revealing his pain and discomfort: "Mother, look, I feel sick in my stomach," he whispered. As she tenderly undressed him, she discovered his stomach had been brutally opened, with his intestines spilling out.
- Shukrije, filled with anguish, covered him with her sweater, but Leotrim pleaded with her not to touch him due to the excruciating pain he was enduring.
- Tragically, the young boy's life was cut short, lasting only a mere three hours. Unable to bring him to Rezalle for burial, they laid Leotrim to rest in Gradica.
- This poignant sculpture, now placed in Skenderaj, Kosovo, stands as a powerful symbol of remembrance and serves as one of the most renowned sculptures created to date.
MAY THIS LITTLE ANGEL REST IN PEACE💔.

- As for the atrocities committed by Serbia against Albanians should never be forgiven and its sad that justice has not yet prevailed for the war crimes in Kosovo. War criminals still walk free in Serbia.
- The denial of these crimes and the perpetuation of propaganda only add insult to injury.
- Serbia is a country with a history marred by genocide against innocent people in Kosovo like this little boy and many others in Bosnia, and Croatia too.
- Serbia's leadership, including @avucic and his entire cabinet, continues to perpetuate a legacy of war criminals, leaving no room for pride in their actions only portraying the same acts of their former president the butcher of balkans Milloshevic. A bunch of russian puppets.

It was a pleasant surprise to realize yesterday in a meeting with @USAmbKosovo that some 12 years ago, we were in the same room at the @WhiteHouse in a meeting of @POTUS (then Vice President Biden) with the then Prime Minister of #Kosovo@HashimThaciRKS.
Ethnographic map of "European Turkey" done by an Austrian-Hungarian consul in 1877. Every time I stumble upon it, I'm hypnotized by all these identity layers, the stories they tell, and how they played out.
In the early 90s I was fleeing war and some 30 years later I am honoured to work as @AJEnglish Correspondent and document the suffering of refugees in 21st century Europe.

Happy for receiving annual award as “Best Actor” (2019) from Ministry of Culture for playing a character of Charlotte von Mahlsdorf in “I am my own wife”, written by Dough Wright and directed by Kushtrim Koloqi.
The announcement by #Israel to recognize #Kosovo is wonderful, long welcomed and an important moment for our country. We are thankful to @realDonaldTrump and the U.S for their constant support.
