We're thinking about giving this project another go, but we're working out logistics. In the meantime, why not check out our other podcast @AdultVersus?
After seemingly being in limbo forever, we have new Fisticuffs Jones content for you. Is there more on the way? Let us know if you'd want that!

After over a year on hold, we're officially back in production. Due to lack of a recording studio we're being forced to do work arounds, but we are editing new Fisticuffs Jones content as we speak!
While waiting to move forward with Fisticuffs Jones, Arielle and Jason have started recording a (non-scripted) podcast about re-watching the Disney Renaissance films as adults!

Early days read through of the first scripts of the podcast. We're hoping we can do another of these soon, once it's safe and the country isn't as on fire.

We had new artwork made up, drawn up by our friend Zack Sharpe (@fawkestrotart )! It sucks that we've kept having to delay this podcast but finally having official art to share is great!

Children's cartoon Darkwing Duck was another big influence for Fisticuffs despite not being blaxploitation nor old timey radio. But like a lot of those shows it features a two person crime fighting team, one of whom… https://t.co/p2Rky58Zc5
Another big influence for Fisticuffs Jones was The Green Hornet. While the siblings didn't grow up with it the same they did with The Shadow, Jason was caught by the idea of a title character teamed up with an hyper… https://t.co/8ugRXqJj29
Things have been quiet on our side, but we are still eager to get going with our project. Due to the current climate our ability to get actors into a studio is compromised so we're going to try getting everything… https://t.co/heL5hxFvBr
Happy #InternationalPodcastDay, everyone! We'd like to celebrate the occasion by reminding everyone that we'll still alive and still working on the project. We haven't given up yet, I promise!

Some influences for Fisticuffs Jones include the following: The Shadow, The Lone Ranger, The Green Hornet, Darkwing Duck, Rocky & Bullwinkle, and Petey Wheatstraw, the Devil's Son-in-Law.
Shout out to our co-creator, co-producer, and director Arielle Leverett, and all the great women who have lent their voices and time to the creation of our pilot. #EqualityCantWait
That script was re-created (nearly word for word for the first scene) for an episode podcast, so hopefully people will enjoy that Jason defied an act of God in order to entertain you all.
Fun Fact: "Fisticuffs Jones and the Murder at Leghorn Manor" was the original play, but Jason did start sequel play called "Fisticuffs Jones and the Blaxploitation of America." This only happened because so many people kept asking when the next one was coming out. For two years.
The play was written on a broke-ass, hand-me-down laptop during Jason's shifts at Western Michigan University's Helpdesk. However at some point the laptop's optical drive, USB drive, and wireless card all broke at once, trapping the script forever. Must have been a sign.
@selfiedt Rats. Well maybe I'll start ducking into random coffee shops until a cult tries to recruit me too. I like walking to fellowship study centers.
