Flat Earth Bible Truth - Why the Globe Lie Cannot Stand Before Scripture

The rage you see every time this subject comes up ought to tell you something. Men do not get this agitated over harmless little differences of opinion. They get stirred up when an idol is touched. The globe is not just a scientific model to this generation. It is a sacred cow. It is a modern Baal. It is one of the chief pillars holding up the false religion of scientism, and when you put the Book in one hand and start tearing at that pillar with the other, the whole crowd starts screaming as if you kicked over the altar in the middle of their temple service. That reaction is not accidental. It shows how deeply this thing has gotten into the minds of people who will question Genesis, question Joshua, question Isaiah, question Job, and question the plain reading of their King James Bible before they will dare question the polished images and rehearsed narratives of men who were not there when God “laid the foundations of the earth” (Job 38:4).

The issue is bigger than shape alone. This is about authority. This is about whether the Christian is going to let the Book say what it says, or whether he is going to run every verse through the filter of men in lab coats, government agencies, computer renderings, and the accumulated propaganda of an age that hates supernatural truth. Once a man accepts the globe system as untouchable dogma, he does not merely change his view of geography. He changes the way he reads Scripture. Suddenly “the four corners of the earth” must be poetry, “the foundations of the earth” must be poetry, “the circle of the earth” must be poetry, “the ends of the earth” must be poetry, “the heavens declare the glory of God” must be filtered through astronomy textbooks, and every verse that reads like a real world described by a real God must be tamed and domesticated until it no longer threatens the approved cosmology of this present evil world. That is not scholarship. That is surrender.

The Christian does not need to be embarrassed by the language of the Bible. He needs to believe it. He does not need to apologize for the firmament, the fixed earth, the moving sun and moon, and the ordered heavens. He needs to stand there with open Book confidence and let the mockers choke on their own laughter. There was a time when God’s people were not ashamed to believe that the world was exactly what God said it was. Then along came generations of compromisers who preferred the praise of educated fools over the testimony of Scripture. The result is a church full of men who can explain away any verse that collides with the world’s system, but cannot explain why they trust the system more than the words of God. “Let God be true, but every man a liar” (Romans 3:4). If that verse means anything, it means that when God and the experts collide, the experts lose.

1. The Battle Is About Who Gets the Final Word

The first thing that has to be settled is the question of authority. Every debate on the flat earth eventually comes down to this point whether men admit it or not. Is the final authority the King James Bible, or is it the ever-changing consensus of men who have made careers out of denying the plain testimony of Scripture? That is the real battlefield. The devil is never bothered by religion that quotes verses as long as those verses are neutered by outside authority. He is perfectly content for a preacher to read the Bible publicly and then spend the next twenty minutes telling everybody why it does not really mean what it appears to say. That kind of preaching is a service to hell. The man who troubles the enemy is the man who takes the text as written and refuses to bend it at the knee to the academy.

He had opportunities to abort. And didn’t take one of them.

Up to and including telling 12 legions of angels that were ready to lay waste to earth “no, I got this”.

And then, after all of that, He goes down to Hell, demons backing away from Him as He walked, takes the keys to the kingdom, and takes ALL the redeemed souls with Him on the way out.

Unbelievable.

And He did ALL it FOR US.

Understand this: The movies and shows about the crucifixion have been tame when compared to what He actually went through.

Even The Passion Of The Christ was forced to hold back a little in order to avoid an X rating.

Crucifixion was, and still is, arguably the most excruciating death someone can experience.

The night before in Gethsemane, He was sweating blood. This is known as hematidrosis. This would have caused His skin to become extremely sensitive, thus making the beatings to come even worse.

The fear He felt was the beginning of His feeling the weight of our iniquities being laid on Him.

Yet - in this moment, He didn’t demand that the Father take it from Him. He only asked for the cup to pass Him over if it was within the Father’s will.

Up next came the Cat of Nine Tails, or a Roman Flagrum. This was a weapon with long leather “tails”, each embedded with sharp bones and metal.

He was flogged 39 times as Jewish law mandated “40 minus one”, because 40 was said to kill a man.

This flogging wasn’t like being punished by your father’s leather belt.

Every strike tore flesh, every strike exposed muscle. Every strike exposed nerve endings. Every strike tore flesh to the bone.

This would be like getting struck with razor blades over and over again, leading to hypovolemic shock from blood loss.

Oh, and the crown of thorns? These weren’t rose thorns. These were thorns which were 2-3 inches long. Beaten into his skull.

These thorns would have pierced his skull, tripping the trigeminal nerve, thus causing unimaginable pain and even more blood loss from the dozens of head wounds.

At this point, extreme nausea and dizziness would begin to set in.

What came next? Carrying the cross. Which weighed around 300lbs. This would be like carrying two full kegs on your back.

Splinters and wood grating against the open flesh on His back. And He had to carry it 650 yards, or close to a half mile.

Imagine carrying a log on your back after being skinned alive.

Up next? He was nailed to the cross with spikes 5-7in in length. Piercing His wrists - this no doubt pierced the median nerve, causing extreme burning sensations up and down His arms.

A spike was driven through his ankles - severing nerves and tendons. This would have felt like standing on broken glass every time He pushed Himself up in order to breathe.

He suffered for 6 hours.

His chest muscles collapsing, making every single breath a fight for life.

His shoulders were dislocated, His arms stretching unnaturally long.

His heart was struggling to pump blood.

He was extremely dehydrated, His lips cracking.

His heart more than likely literally ruptured from the stress.

And on top of all of that, He had to feel a separation with the Father for a period of time in order to REALLY bear the weight of our sin.

He took up this burden for ALL sin before Him, and ALL sin which came after Him.

HE DID IT ALL FOR US.

To free us. To defeat sin. To give us a pathway to the Kingdom.

Every sin we commit is exactly why He had to do it.

And the real kicker? He knew what was coming when He rode into Jerusalem … and He didn’t turn around. He kept going.

For us.

Blood under his fingernails. The weight of a dead man sagging into his arms.

He wrapped God in linen, pressed the fabric into wounds that were still wet.

Nicodemus brought seventy-five pounds of burial spice. A king's funeral for a man the world just murdered.

They carried Him into a hole in the rock and rolled the stone shut.

And everything you've ever done went in with Him.
Every night you can't sleep because of what you did. Every morning, you can't look in the mirror. The thing you did to her. The thing you did to them. The
lie you've been carrying so long it feels like bone.

The version of you that drinks alone and pretends tomorrow will be different.

That man was buried with Christ.

Stone sealed. Done.
Not managed. Not in therapy. Not on a payment plan with God where you slowly earn your way back. Buried. In a tomb. Under rock. Gone.
Three days of silence. Three days of a cold body in the dark.

Then the stone moved.
And when He walked out, the grave clothes were folded on the slab. He didn't stumble out tangled in death. He left it sitting there like a man who's done
with the clothes he used to wear.
Lazarus needed someone to unwrap him. Death still clung to him even after he was breathing.
Jesus folded His own burial linen and walked out clean.

That's the difference between religion and resurrection. Religion unwraps you slowly. Asks you to manage your sin. Attend the class. Read the book. Try harder next week.
Resurrection says the man who walked into that tomb is dead. The man who walked out doesn't know him.
You're not fixing the old you. The old you is in a sealed tomb in Jerusalem, and he's not coming back.
The man reading this, the one who thinks he's too far gone, you're not too far. You're already buried. The funeral happened two thousand years
ago.
Now get up. The stone's already moved. The linen's already folded.

Walk out.

I support making Standard Time Permanent

Let me explain why ST should be permanent

1. Who wants it to be dark out when your children go to school in the morning? That is unsafe. Who wants it to be light out at 9PM? That makes it much harder for older Americans to fall asleep

2. Did you know America moved to Daylight Saving Time in 1974? The results were a disaster. It was so unpopular it was replaced in 1975

3. Standard Time provides a better alignment with Natural Circadian Rhythms. ST closely follows the sun’s natural cycle, promoting healthier sleep patterns and reducing the risk of health issues linked to disrupted circadian rhythms

4. Studies suggest the transition to and from DST can increase the risk of accidents, heart attacks, and other health problems. Moving to Standard Time eliminates these risks.

5. Permanent Standard Time has been observed for decades in Arizona, Hawaii, all five US territories, and other most nations. Most of Mexico restored permanent Standard Time in late 2022.

6. Over 80 medical, educational, and religious organizations such as the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and Society for Research in Biological Rhythms support making Standard Time Permanent year-round

7. Standard Time ensures timekeeping is consistent within time zones, making scheduling and coordination easier across regions.

8. Standard Time does not require biannual clock changes, which can disrupt sleep patterns, productivity, and overall well-being.

9. Maintaining a consistent time throughout the year helps businesses, schools, and international organizations operate smoothly without adjusting to time changes.

10. Without the need to change clocks, there’s less risk of scheduling errors, missed appointments, or software issues related to time changes.

11. Permanent Standard Time reduces the risk of sleep deprivation and health problems associated with DST, such as increased rates of depression, obesity, and cardiovascular disease.

12. Studies have shown that students perform better when their school schedules align with natural daylight, which Standard Time supports

13. Research has shown an increase in car accidents right after the DST transition. Keeping Standard Time year-round will improve road safety.

14. Disruptions to sleep caused by time changes have been linked to increased stress and anxiety. Standard Time provides stability.

15. Standard Time aligns better with natural daylight, which benefits those whose work depends on sunrise like farmers, and sunset rather than the artificial shift caused by DST.

16. Studies show that crime rates can increase in the darker morning hours caused by DST. Standard Time keeps sunrise more in sync with daily activities, reducing risks.

For those reasons, I believe it is wise to move to Stanard Time Permanently in America

This has always stuck with me ever since I learned of it. When you read through the book of Numbers in the Old Testament, you will come to find that this was how God told Moses & Aaron to arrange the tribes of Israel, & what God saw looking down as He directed them. Amazing. ✝️
