That’s not how to defend an institution. Let the management investigate the matter and issue an official statement. You don’t defend an institution by jumping to conclusions or discrediting someone simply because they spoke about their experience. Allow the facts to speak

You all are getting it wrong. Let me clarify my point.

I have heard about police brutality and extortion, and I strongly condemn both. I have never supported such acts, and I made that clear in my second paragraph.

The point @FirdaousIsiaq and I were trying to make is simple. Before calling out a police officer over a specific incident, I believe there should be credible evidence to back up the allegation. That I have never personally experienced police brutality or extortion does not mean it doesn’t happen to others.

All we said was that we have never experienced it ourselves and, as such, do not have personal evidence to present. That is not the same as denying that it happens, let alone supporting it.

Please, let’s not twist our position or read meanings into what we never said. May Almighty Allah continue to protect us all. 🤲
