"Hi, it’s Jimmy Kimmel. I host a ‘poorly rated’ show on TV that Donald Trump hate-watches," Kimmel said in a new email from Biden Victory Fund.

Kimmel urged Americans to donate to Biden for a chance to a win a trip to a celebrity-decked campaign fundraiser in Los Angeles that will also be attended by luminaries like George Clooney and Julia Roberts.

"Trump will hate this, so let’s do it!" said Kimmel.

"Our democracy may not survive another four years of a Trump presidency. As our President might say ‘That’s no joke, man,'" he added.

Kimmel is absolutely right. If we let Trump back into the White House, our democracy will not survive. He has not been shy about his authoritarian intentions for a second term.

The war between Trump and Kimmel has been steadily escalating, with the disgraced former president referring to him as "dumb" and his ratings as "terrible." Kimmel has responded by ramping up his attacks, getting right under Trump's infamously thin skin.
