@physedreview I would be interested to know how you would approach teaching 33 days a year with each class? Classes are 50 mins in length, and you see students a week(ish Mon-Fri) at a time. Seven total rotations through your classroom a year.
@HeartZonesInc I appreciate your approach to the topic. Does the potential change help to improve the programming our Ss need right now to guide them on the path they need for their physical literacy journey? #mpe
Or is this a case of go back to what we used to do because that is what I know?

@PhysEdApps Matt, you have had an amazing career and touched many lives along the way. I am very excited about your new journey. It will take a little getting used to, but you are going to make a very large impact with all the educators you are about to work with.
"It includes a clear delineation of the essential
knowledge students should have and the skills they should possess as the result of
a particular segment of learning. "
A list of standards is not a curriculum. A textbook is not a curriculum. These are ingredientsโresources necessary for developing a curriculum. A high-quality curriculum begins with a teacherโs sense of the authentic nature of the discipline
that the curriculum will represent.
@Big_Creek_PE Love the creativity. How do you get away with not using helmets? I do a kick scooter unit with K-1. I am required to have signed permission forms and helmets on every student. They must wear a helmet even if they are not on a scooter.
Join me for summer #PhysEd PD @UNC_Colorado . I am presenting two sessions. #uncbears
