Hi folks, just refreshed the invite link for my server. Let Me Tempt You is an 18+ Good Omens server focused on belly/food kink! We are body- and sex-positive, and extremely queer. Please come join us if you'd like to discuss enormous amounts of dim sum π₯ https://t.co/OhI8YZpBJb
I have been inside most of the day, had to go out to put laundry in (we only have an outside entrance to the basement). I was out for like. 6 minutes. And I'm covered in sweat. I hate this.
Bean Counter is exactly what it sounds like: an accountant gets isekai'd into a magical realm. He's allergic to magic. The solution is...well. Let's just say "pining while fucking" would be a tag on AO3. There's also, like, political intrigue! And many delightful characters.
Ok reposting this with details because I fell asleep IMMEDIATELY after posting
Cute High is a magical girl parody, with magical boys. Very silly, extremely likable characters, highly self-aware. It walks up to the text/subtext line and occasionally puts a toe over it.
I have to say goodbye to another one in a couple of hours for the same reasons. Another really great kid who's made a TON of progress in just the 2 years we've worked together. I hate this part of my job ππ
I had to say goodbye to two students (brothers) last night who I've had since 2021. They're sweet, smart, hard-working kids, and were always a highlight of my week. Their skill level was starting to surpass mine so it was time for me to hand them off, but it still sucks.
I visited one of my partners for his birthday this weekend and did a bunch of things outside of my comfort zone because he wanted to do them! I enjoyed most of them and politely tolerated the one thing I didn't!
Watching Cute High Earth Defense Club with the girls and it's all very good but the most recent season (a revival of sorts) is fucking stellar. They've had an episode railing against a certain social media platform, and the one we watched tonight was a Les Mez homage.
Maybe I just have really open-minded/kink-positive friends, but as someone who spent literal decades hiding those things about me, it's really nice to not be seen as a freak (/negative) for liking something unusual.
One thing I've discovered over the last ~2 years of being more openly kinky is that most people I consider friends will hear the weird shit that turns me on and either say "hell yeah, me too" or "I don't get it but good for you!"
the advice to "write for yourself" is getting bastardized and/or misinterpreted to mean "do not ever express disappointment if a piece you worked hard on does not find its audience," but what it actually means is "only dedicate time & effort to ideas that excite you"
Just got back from the local Pride parade/event. Hung out with my lovely queer friends. Got many compliments on my "bisexual mess" shirt. Saw multiple dogs with rainbows on them. Took zero pictures. It was great. π
Ok so. Lmao. His partner told me "thanks for going on a date with him tonight, I didn't want to go myself" π
It ended up being really nice, we did a little bit of work talk but mostly just bullshitted and were goofballs together. He pushed back if I got too close to a boundary.
