@TheMaineWonk@SenMullin I mean, Washington, Lincoln, and Truman didn’t have college degrees. Why would a college degree make someone “qualified” to be a senator? I’m not a fan of this guy, but this is garbage take. The list of incredibly successful entrepreneurs without a college degree is tremendous.
Small businesses thrive when government gets out of the way.
Cutting unnecessary red tape means more time building success and less time buried in paperwork.
Someone broke into a business and stole merchandise. The business raised prices on consumers as a result.
The burglar was later caught and merchandise was later returned.
What was stolen goes to the company, not to anyone else.
Why is everyone pretending to be stupid?
Why is this hard to understand? Tariffs are a tax that are paid for by biz + consumers.
The govt DIRECTLY ILLEGALLY took money FROM COMPANIES. Regardless of how any specific biz dealt with that, the govt owes that back to the entities from which they directly illegally took it.
The Trump administration has said that they are pro-small business and that it is "Main Street's turn".
To that end, the administration must promptly return tariffs illegally collected under IEEPA to small businesses (which we know have struggled the most because of them).
