Fitzroy pool was closed for a private booking this morning. Other closures are planned across February-March. Yarra has walked away from its long standing agreement with the community that apart from the Mega-Swim all bookings would max at 6 lanes with 4+ left for public access.

Good news: the Fitzroy Pool will reopen. Not-so-good news is not until 6 July; a month after Spring St allowed pools to open, 2 weeks after Collingwood & a week after Richmond. Yep, last in line again. What's with Yarra Leisure management? Why not open them all on the same day.
