Anyone who has grown up in the real world understands that when you get an invite from the most powerful man in the world you don’t turn it down. Doesn’t matter what you think of the man.

You respect your country, you respect its leader. The end. It’s not about the person, it’s about the country and the position.

Also being POTUS is probably one of the hardest, dirtiest jobs in the world. If you look hard enough you’ll notice that as a general rule, no objectively “good, perfect person” has ever been president. I don’t think it’s possible to be a “good” person and be present. And that’s how it should be. You need to know how to get your hands dirty.

If this same team got an invite and had the same type of call with Biden or any other president, they would have reacted the same way and you would have no problem with it because you support him.

The fact of the matter is, they won for their country and they accepted an invite from the President of the United States to congratulate him. You accept that 100/100 times if you are a sane person, it doesn’t matter who the president is.
