@gentlejac@majimosess 🤣🤣
i swear, i was waiting to see the tiny object sniffed out of hiding, i didn't expect to see a whole gp tank in the most obvious contraption - the boot.
Tomorrow is Monday. By God’s grace, this week will be filled with GOOD NEWS, divine favor, financial blessings, open doors, and reasons to smile every day.
Some years ago, I had the opportunity to teach Sports and Exercise Science at a college in the UK. Most of my students were academy players attached to national -league clubs. One of the modules covered exercise physiology and the energy systems used in sport. They learned the fundamentals of how the body produces energy, the demands of different sports, and how exercise intensity influences the energy systems that are predominantly used.
Given that foundation, I am quite certain those students would not be arguing about whether a 5v5 game can be more intense than an 11v11 game. They understood that intensity is not simply about the size of the pitch or the number of players; it is about the frequency and duration of high-intensity actions, recovery periods, and overall physiological demands.
The fact that so many people are disputing it suggests that the issue is a lack of understanding of the underlying principles of exercise physiology and sports science.
@catalyst_o56844@Uniques_5 No comparisons because It's not played effectively either way.
The 11v11 is just a larger space.
If both are played as it should, the 5v5 is more tasking.
@Jide35426@SirJarus Haha.
1st edition, 3rd edition
1st edition: 1st round exit.
3rd edition: Ro32 exit ( this one pain me kpa!)
We played the ro32 with only 6 players for 5 games.
5 opps teams with 12 players each.
@mikaelkraft@tobyasky The thing about 11v11 is that you can flaunt your way through it, guile, flambouyance and not overexhaust yourself..if you and your teammates can ball (semi pro to pro level), even if opposition is level or higher in quality.
But with ssg, it is more difficult to pull off.
@mikaelkraft@tobyasky Haha.
I played pro, i even played basketball at NUGA level.
I am currently a coach of an academy team.
I know the extent 5v5 haunts players, i've been there.
I still terrorised my boys with a 3v3 in 2 sectors on Friday.
SSG na die.
@mikaelkraft@tobyasky So you're saying boni cannot argue 5v5 cos he's better at 11v11?
Boni played grassroots football o..Real sapphire, european academy, bodo, st. Gilloise, leverkusen, bremen but he can't state 5v5 is harder to play?
@raffteeone@tobyasky We are aaying the same thing.
I'm just infering that suicides are equally done innboth sports.
I played pro football and uni basketball (nuga)
@raffteeone@tobyasky Footballers do suicide drills as well..the whole field!
Byline to 6, 18, 45..etc
So many tests that are more strenuous than suicide drills are used in football.
@OhGe_phoenix@stillbigfish@liquidspliff Have you played futsal before, my god!!
You go kpeme!
It's a beautiful game though, best one to teach spacing, confidence in possession and timing of runs in 11v11 football.
