ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಪೂರ್ವ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಯ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಐಟಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಹಿಂಭಾಗದ ಪಟ್ಟಂದೂರು ಅಗ್ರಹಾರ ಮುಖ್ಯರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾದಚಾರಿ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಒತ್ತುವರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು.

ಪಾದಚಾರಿ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಪಾದಚಾರಿಗಳ ನಡಿಗೆಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒತ್ತುವರಿ ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಿಡುವುದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

A commotion broke out outside Whitefield Metro during the evening peak hours after a heated altercation allegedly involving a BMTC bus and a cab driver around 5 PM.The argument drew the attention of commuters and passersby, with several people gathering at the spot, briefly causing disruption in the area.The exact cause of the dispute is yet to be confirmed. As of now, there are no reports of injuries or any confirmed police action.

🚶‍♂️ Footpath Encroachment Clearance Drive – Bengaluru East City Corporation

A footpath encroachment clearance drive was conducted along 60-Feet Road in AECS Layout, from Ganesha Temple to ITPL Main Road, covering around 1.6 km on both sides under the Bengaluru East City Corporation.

Illegal petty shops, sheds, canopies, temporary structures, railings, and pushcarts encroaching on the footpath were removed to ensure safe and obstruction-free pedestrian movement. The drive will continue in the coming days.

@NammaWhitefield attended the PUBLIC GRIEVANCE MEETING held at @EASTCITYCORP chaired by @GBAChiefComm on Tuesday, 3rd March 2026, and submitted a petition with JUST ONE IMPORTANT ASK:

"PLEASE RESTORE A 'FUNCTIONING' GOVERNMENT IN BENGALURU CITY!"

It's a free for all in the city now, there is no compliance with bye-laws, rules, or zoning laws. IT IS AS IF THERE IS NO GOVT AT ALL! Violations are extreme - 100%, 200%, or more. Illegal buildings, illegal layouts, illegal commercialisation, etc., have become the norm.

Violators can do anything without any fear of consequence; as a result, the city is rapidly collapsing into a "CONCRETE SLUM"!

If it can't provide effective or functioning administration, if there's no enforcement or governance, why have GBA at all? Even if all the corporations are wound up, and all the officials sacked, there will be no difference on the ground. Then why employ them? Might as well save that money, and let people do whatever they please? Why have the facade of a City Corporation?

Daily violations continue near ITPL gate-3:
• 2-wheelers parked outside ITPL Gate-3
• Cars parked in front of Jain College
• Vendors occupying the road & footpaths.

All causing avoidable congestion. Why is no action taken?
