AFL changed the rule post R7 so the ARC could no longer intervene on an incorrect call once the ball was back in play.

This was called a behind. Pre R7, play would’ve been stopped at next stoppage + a goal awarded to Dempsey.

Surely goal ump has to call a review in this one.

Geelong has added Jesse Mellor (ankle - test) and rookie Nick Driscoll (concussion) to its injury list.

Jhye Clark was kept in the protocol by the AFL for an extra week after three concussions in 12 months.

Jay Polkinghorne now 1-2 weeks with that foot issue.
