Four college basketball players have been banned for life by the NCAA for match-fixing.
The four players helped make sure that Alabama State didn't cover the spread in their 5 Dec 2024 match against Southern Mississippi.
It's being reported that the bribe was $2k per player.
UEFA has barred the Azerbaijani club Turan Tovuz from participating in next season's Conference League due to prior involvement in fixed matches.
Seven Turan Tovuz players were given lifetime bans for match-fixing in 2019.
The club will appeal to CAS.
Update from Uganda:
Buhimba United players Fred Nkata, Moses Ayebale, and Ramadhan Dudu were given bans of 2-5 years by the Ugandan FA.
Club official James Kalumba and former player Ali Feni were both given lifetime bans.
The 8 Nov 2025 match against Lugazi FC was fixed.
In Uganda, three players from Premier League club Buhimba United Saints have been suspended by the FA.
They are accused of fixing their team's 8 Nov 2025 match against Lugazi, which they lost 5-2.
The three players are Fred Nkata, Moses Ayebale, and Dudu Ramathan.

Those 2024 matches were listed as part of the reason for the lifetime bans for these two players specifically. The two players left after 2024 I think.
There could well be a heap of other fixed matches from this team that haven’t been made public.
Two Ukrainian basketball players have been banned for life for match-fixing at Asian clubs.
Oleksandr Kolchenko and Sergey Priymak fixed matches at Adroit Club in Singapore, including at least two Asian Champions League matches in May 2025.
CONMEBOL is investigating suspected spot-fixing in the Copa Libertadores match Independiente Rivadavia vs Fluminense played on 6 May 2026.
Suspicious bets were reported for Independiente Rivadavia player Tomás Bottari to receive a yellow card in the match.
China has now punished more than ten football clubs and more than 100 individuals since starting a large scale anti match-fixing investigation last year.
In China, more match-fixing sanctions were announced. Meizhou Hakka have been given a six point deduction.

Chinese women’s basketball team Inner Mongolia Nongxin has been banned from participating in the CWBA for 3 years for match-fixing and bribery offences.
Ex-GM Guo Jiajie and player Zou Qijia were banned for life. Other club officials were also suspended.

Lu Pengyu, six years for fixing 3 matches and destroying evidence
Angel Maleno Rosario, three years for fixing a double match
Jossting Cruz, two years for attempting to fix two matches
In Panama, Sporting San Miguelito goalkeeper Jose Calderon has now been provisionally suspended for six months while he is investigated for match-fixing.
The allegations stem from the 2 May match against Alianza where he scored an “unusual” last minute own goal.
