Oops, only just seen there’s a second 4 car diagram. Still, these should really be prioritised for the peak trains if no 6 car is available rather than making them all a 3

215 short formations (but probably a few more because it’s Northern)
Airport to Blackpool is exclusively a 3 car service, except I think one 4 and one 6 car diagram
Even the busiest peak trains are 3 car formations, despite this they’ve still managed to find a 331 to run MCV-WGN

Also if any Northern admins have seen this, I might wish to escalate this as a complaint if you can send this thread. I understand you guys don’t choose to short form our trains but this has been a consistent issue since I started commuting by train a year ago and it’s ridiculous

@northernassist There’s a grand total of one bus replacement service showing on my app that departed at 15:15. I know there’s currently an overtime ban but these issues still happen on most sundays

@northernassist I don’t really plan on travelling today, as situations like this are common on Sundays I try to avoid travel. The Northern app is showing a 7 hour gap in train services but just wondering if extra trains will be applied? Most Cumbria - Airport services seem to be running

Here we go again with the 07:22 Blackpool diagram being short formed. And in typical Northern fashion, you’ve still got a 6 car before and after this one
Not even bothering to tag them because at this point clearly they don’t care as long as they’re making a profit
