👀#Earlsfield A safety inspection of the line in the Earlsfield area means that trains have to run at reduced speed on some lines towards London Waterloo.

As a result, trains running between Wimbledon and Clapham Junction may be delayed, revised or cancelled.

Disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day.

Yesterday I met campaigners outside Wimbledon Station calling for District Line signalling to be brought into the 21st century. The rest of the line is getting upgraded, but Wimbledon is stuck with technology from the 1980s.

I’m writing to the government to ask them to look again at the issue.
