John Butcher was the United Utilities engineer and manager of the aqueduct for 30 years. His talk takes you on a fascinating journey from Thirlmere to Manchester, from conception to completion and current usage. He's kindly supporting Fix the Fells with no fees for his talk.

On 27+28 March, 26 Fix the Fells volunteers took part in @FriendsofLakes Great Cumbrian Litter Pick, covering 10km across five routes. Thank you all for helping keep the fells tidy of litter. @NTlakedistrict @lakedistrictnpa @lakesfoundation @NECumbria
